RS PRO Door and Window Switch Surface Mount 500 (DC) mA, 50 V DC


These RS PRO door and window switches are well-suited for use with both commercial and residential alarm systems to deter intruders away from your home or business. When a window (or door) fitted with the switch is opened, the signal it generates is broken, alerting the alarm system.

A 500 (DC) mA switching current provides a reliable power level that's unlikely to be burnt out. The switches come with a 300 mm-long cable, so you can fit them onto doors and windows without restricting where to install the actual alarm.

Both the switch and the permanent actuating magnet are a moulded construction that allows for a discreet installation. There is also a separate tamper loop built into the switch, so you'll know if anyone has interfered with it.

This product is part of the tried and tested RS PRO range and has undergone stringent quality controls for safety and reliability.
