RS PRO 5-Core SY Control Cable 2.5 mm², 50 m, Screened
This 5-core SY control cable, part of the RS PRO range, allows you to connect control units to equipment such as production lines and conveyors.
The cable is manufactured to withstand damage or stress, while remaining flexible. It can do this thanks to its steel braiding, which is covered with a transparent plastic sheath. The braiding is also galvanised for extra protection against corrosion. This cable is best suited to internal dry, damp or wet environments but can also be used outdoors with additional protection. As it comes in a length of 50 metres, you can use it for long-distance or short-distance applications.
This cabling is used in many industries including manufacturing, construction and transport. It meets safety standard BS EN 50525 (British Standard, European Norm) for rigid and flexible cables. It's also compliant with RoHS (Restrictions of Hazardous Substances).
