RS PRO 3 Core SY Control Cable 2.5 mm², 50 m, Screened


The RS PRO SY series cables are designed to help you interconnect assembly and production line equipment, conveyors and computer units. This three-core cable is screened with galvanised steel wire braid to shield the conductors from electromagnetic noise, minimise cross-talk between conductors and prevent radiation from the cable.

The conductors are made from annealed copper, which offers flexibility and superior conductivity. The cable is available in lengths of 50 metres, has a cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm and an outer diameter of 11.7 mm.

Having been exhaustively tested, this cable meets international standards as an effective Class 5 flexible conductor (BS EN 60228) that's safely insulated with PVC (BS EN 50363) and manufactured to ensure safety and reliability (BS EN 50525-2-11:2011).

Cables like these are commonly used in construction, rail and transport industries as well as for tasks including transmission and automation and process control.
