Evaluation Board for USB Hub Isolator Circuit


This Analog Devices evaluation board provides a solution to the requirement for a USB hub where isolation is required for connections to machines that control dangerous voltages or low leakage defibrillation-proof connections in medical applications. The ADuM4160 is used to provide the required isolation, and the chosen hub chip is a Microchip USB2512 two-port USB hub controller. The evaluation board also includes two high-accuracy LDO Regulators, the ADP3330 and ADP3339.
