It's made from steel, which offers high tensile strength and corrosion resistance, so you can rely on it in damp and demanding industrial environments. The U-shaped nut comes conveniently pre-drilled to make installation simple and do away with the need for drilling or soldering. Just align its open edge with a hole on your mounting plate then push to clip it in place before securing with a screw.
