RS PRO No.8 Captive U Nut (11.1 x 16.6mm)
A durable and tough captive U nut, or spire clip, suitable for attaching machine screws to thin usually unsuitable materials or to attach panels, lighting or signs allowing for easy removal.
Constructed from high quality spring Steel for a strong and hardwearing captive clip that will retain its shape through extended use and finished with a clear passivated Zinc plating for an added layer of corrosion resistance, making the spire nut suitable for indoor and outdoor use in both commercial and industrial environments.
Ideal for a wide range of applications where regular access or component changes are required including for use with server racks, panel access, connecting thin materials where a regular nut isn’t suitable, attaching components to units where the back is not accessible, signage and lighting.
