RS PRO Capacitor Clip for use with 35 mm Dia. Capacitor, Nylon
Looking for a product to give your capacitors additional protection? These RS PRO mounting clips hold your tubular-shaped capacitors in place securely and protect them from mechanical shock.
The clips are made of durable nylon and fit smoothly on the capacitor's insulating sleeve, minimising the risk of abrasion in case of vibration or accidental movement. They are designed to compress or expand, allowing you to use them with capacitors with small size variations.
Mounting clips like these are generally used to support capacitors and help prevent failure caused by mechanical shock and vibration. You can use them with both surface mount devices (SMD) and through-hole (THT) mounting technology. These units are tested according to electrostatic discharge (EDS) criteria and meet Electrostatic Control Standards ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007, so you can be sure the hazard of electrostatic discharge is reduced to a minimum.
