The Microchip High current, high accuracy, low dropout voltage regulators utilize Microchips proprietary Super Beta PNP process with a PNP pass element and offer typical dropout voltages between 350 millivolts and 425 millivolts at full load along with very low ground current, making them suitable for high current loads as well as lower current systems where extremely low dropout voltage and ground current are critical attributes.
