LM340 Linear Voltage Regulators, Texas Instruments
Texas Instruments LM340 series three Terminal positive voltage regulators are for use in fixed voltage regulation. There are no external parts required unless you want to adjust the outputs. The linear voltage regulators feature safe area compensation, internal current limiting and thermal shut-down making them a robust device. Texas Instruments (TI) regulators can offer local on-card regulation which can eliminate any distribution problems associated with single point regulation. The regulator IC provides fixed output voltages of 5 V, 12 V or 15 V in various packages.
