The L-Com USB Hood is a protective backshell designed to enclose USB Type B connectors in custom cable assemblies or field repairs. The housing is constructed from black LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material, which meets UL94V-0 flammability standards for enhanced safety in industrial and confined environments. It is part of the USBHD2.0 series, which replaces older CNUSB and HOODUSB models and supports USB 2.0 to USB 3.0 applications.

Gold plated contacts ensure reliable mating cycles and signal integrity

UL94V 0 rated LSZH housing minimizes toxic emissions during combustion

Available in Type A or Type B styles with color options including black LSZH and light gray PVC
