RS PRO Universal Joint, Single, Plain, Bore 16 mm, 68 mm Length
When you want to connect a prime mover to rotating machinery, such as line shafts, conveyor systems and drive shafts, RS PRO universal joints are well-suited to the job. They're regularly used in a wide range of transportation situations for connecting two rods or shafts that have axes with inclined angles.
This part is a bored hub type with hex, square or round-shaped holes. The joint has a bore size of 16 mm and an overall length of 68 mm. You can use them in applications with an operating angle of 3° to 45° and at a maximum speed of 1000 rpm.
These plain bearing universal couplings are built for durability. For smooth operation in vehicles or machinery, you can include a protective gaiter. Places you might frequently use these joints include conveyor belt systems, propeller shafts and centrifugal pump setups.
