Phase Control Thyristor/ Diode Modules, Infineon
The Infineon Phase Control Thyristor modules (PCT) are assembled with a pressure contact technology that have an electrical insulated base which consists of an isolated copper base plate in a range of sizes from 20mm to 60mm. With their Industrial modular construction these ranges of PowerBLOCK modules present a combination of Diode/Thyristor (Diode/SCR Phase Control) or Thyristor/Diode (SCR/Diode Phase Control) configurations. The voltage ranges from 1200 volts and higher. Typical applications include soft starters, power controllers and rectifier for drive applications.

The Infineon Phase Control Thyristors (PCT) offer different types of thyristors such as the capsule version, thyristor module and the combination PowerBLOCK thyristor/ diode module.
