RS PRO Type K Thermocouple 150 mm Length, 3 mm Diameter, +1100°C
This duplex-style, Type K thermocouple from RS PRO is a versatile tool for measuring temperatures between 0°C and +1100°C. It has two independent measuring junctions inside the tip of the probe, allowing one probe to be connected to two measurement or control devices. Alternatively, one sensor can be used as a primary and the other as a backup, eliminating the need to remove and replace the probe if one of the sensors fails.
As both the Teflon sheath and the probe are highly flexible, you can easily bend it to suit a variety of spaces and applications. The stainless steel probe material ensures good oxidation and corrosion resistance for use in harsh environments. The junction is also insulated from the sheath in order to prevent electrical noise and interference.
This thermocouple is suitable for use in a variety of demanding settings, including high-vibration applications and sulphur-bearing atmospheres. It's commonly used in brick and cement kilns, the glass industry and annealing furnaces.
