RS PRO IEC Type J Flat Thermocouple (25 x 13mm)
A flat Type J thermocouple, also referred to as a Leaf thermocouple, featuring a 0.2mm thick measuring pad for quick and easy surface measurements where space is limited or in between layers of material. Comprising of a thermocouple mounted on a Stainless Steel shim sheath attached to a Glassfibre insulated Stainless Steel braided cable terminating in IEC colour coded bare wire tails.;The Type J thermocouples Glassfibre insulated Stainless Steel braided cable protects against wearing and mechanical stresses, EMI with excellent heat and thermal resistance and the easy to clean Stainless Steel shim enables surface temperature measurements of -50 up to 350°C.;Featuring a grounded junction at the tip for increased stability, accuracy and a fast response time the IEC leaf thermocouple is hardwearing, perfect for temperature measurements where space is restricted and suitable for use in harsh industrial environments.
