RS PRO Calcium-Magnesium Silicate Thermal Insulation, 2.2 m x 610 mm x 3 mm
Easily cut and shape this calcium-magnesium silicate from RS PRO to suit your needs. The flame-retardant thermal insulation sheet offers excellent performance in high-temperature applications such as heat shield and heat containment.
Ideal for use in a high-temperature gasket, as it can operate at temperatures reaching +1260°C, this low-density insulation stops components touching and thus prevents them from bonding. Chemical- and solvent-resistant, this thermal insulation sheet is suitable for use in industrial environments such as furnaces and ovens. It's also suitable for expansion joints or as a thin thermal break.
As the sheet is flame-retardant, it can be used as an effective fire stop or in passive fire protection systems. As part of the RS PRO range, it's been stringently tested to ensure consistently high quality, along with durability and safety.
