The lower pin contacts are gold-plated over nickel and the upper banana body is bright tin-plated.
What temperature limits affect safe operation?
The operating temperature specified is +55°C maximum.

Yes, variants accept a range of pin diameters corresponding to 22AWG, 20AWG, 16AWG and 12AWG sizes.
How should voltages be handled when using the adaptor by hand?
For personal safety, do not hold the adaptor in hand when voltages exceed 33Vrms/70Vdc.
