MAX6643/6644 Temperature Monitor & PWM Fan Controller


The MAX6643/6644 temperature monitor & PWM fan controller work together to reduce fan noise levels and optimize fan cooling by adjusting the fan speed. The MAX6643 and MAX6644 can monitor 2 temperature zones; the MAX6643 monitoring it's own die temperature and that of an external transistor and the MAX6644 monitoring the temperature of 2 external diode-connected transistors.
