Correct out-of-sync process temperatures with this 1/4 DIN rail PID temperature controller from RS PRO. PID stands for proportional integral derivative, an advanced system that lets you run equipment at much more accurate temperatures than is possible with a standard controller.

While basic devices only emit a signal when process temperatures drop below a specific point, PID controllers use a mathematical formula to prevent the process temperature from deviating from the user setpoint. Their ability to offset sudden heat fluctuations makes these controllers well-suited for a multitude of industries, from textile and food production to petrochemistry and plastics.

This clever temperature controller has a clear, easy-to-read LED display with simple four-button operation on the front panel. Simply enter a setpoint and the controller will respond to sensor feedback and adjust the process temperature of any hooked-up equipment as needed. This controller has undergone strict quality controls for safety and reliability.
