Combining flexibility in the field, broad technical functionality as well as a simple and easy to use display, the 6100 series temperature controller from West Instruments is a comprehensive and reliable process control tool.
Suitable for heat and cool operation, the 6100 series features two process alarms, a loop alarm, RS485 comms as well as auto/manual tuning, ramping set point and the ability to configure via a PC. These features teamed with the controllers easy to use 4 button operation, dual 4 digit LED displays showing 10mm and 8mm high characters and 3 LED indicators, the 6100 series controllers are versatile and suitable for a wide range of systems while remaining simple to install and maintain.
Featuring multiple control types, the temperature controller features full PID with pre-tune, self-tune, manual tuning as well as standard on-off control. Control functions also include heat and cool or heat only. Selectable from the front panel, the 6100 series PID controller has bumbles transfer between automatic and manual tuning, selectable via the controllers front panel.
The thermocouple single input on the controller is suitable for use with type J, K, R, S, T, B, L & N thermocouples with ˃100MΩ impedance.

The P6100-2100-02-0 model from West Instruments is a relay output based controller with a single thermocouple input and single configurable relay output. This easy to use configuration is suitable for different applications for both heating and cooling and with the addition of an IP66 rated facia, the P6100-2100-02-0 is with dust and water proof.
Powered through a 24 – 48 V ac/dc supply, the standard 1/16DIN unit is quick and easy to install into any standard DIN unit and can be used with DIN size adapters allowing this PID controller to be installed into almost any system.
