The RS Pro Fibreglass Step Ladder is not conductor of electricity, with strong reinforced stiles making it highly durable. Being a swingback step ladder one side features non-slip treads, which are double riveted for safety. ;The RS Pro ladder conforms to EN131 standards, which ensures a 150kg static load rating. ;The top tread of the ladder features a handy tool rack to store the most used tools to avoid dismounting the ladder.

Why buy a Fibreglass Step Ladder?

The EN131 is a European Union Certification for portable steps and ladders.

The standard covers additional requirements for stability, slipping, durability and strength in position.

Is it safe to stand on the platform of a step ladder?


If the step ladder has a handrail above the platform will determine whether you are able to stand on the platform. The HSE advise to avoid standing on the top three steps, whilst the EN131 standard states to avoid the top two steps, if it doesn’t have a platform.
