RS PRO HSS Cone Cutter, 5 mm x 31 mm
This tough RS PRO cone cutter allows you to effectively drill holes of different sizes without needing to frequently change the drill bit sizes. It has a cone shape that creates larger diameters as it passes through the material.
The cutter is made from high-speed steel (HHS) to ensure strength and resistance to high temperatures. The laser-engraved diameter guide is legible even when the tap rotates, so you can clearly see what diameter has been cut so far.
This cutter features a three-faced driving shaft that locks firmly in the drill chuck to prevent slipping and a deburred spiral tap for producing clean holes. You can use cone cutters like this in construction applications and to drill stainless steel, non-ferrous metals and plastics up to 6 mm thick.
