Weller WR 2002 Soldering Station Set
Introducing the WR 2002 from Weller, the 300W rework station uses two channels to support two different tools. It's the perfect solution for all your soldering, desoldering jobs, with an automatic tool recognition. The WR 2 provides versatility and is compatible with a wide range of tips and accessories, also with two integrated pumps. The pumps allow the system to be independent of separate compressed air supply.
The WXR 2002 rework station includes a power unit, soldering and desoldering iron, and dual soldering iron rests.
What's included?
- WR 2 300W Power Unit
- WP 80 Soldering Iron
- DSX 80 Desoldering Iron
- WDH 10/30 Soldering Iron Rests
Power Unit
The WR 2 from Weller is a digitally controlled soldering station using an LCD display, that can easily track the temperatures for the tools selected. The station supports two tools up to 300W. This allows you to use two tools simultaneously and with its automatic tool recognition to avoid any delay in your work. This soldering station features an ECO button. With one push of the ECO button, the temperature will drop down to the power-saving standby mode. The WR 2 control unit has an integrated mini USB port for data logging etc.
The WR 2 power unit has a temperature range is from 50°C to 550°C (122°F to 932°F), offering a great deal of flexibility for various soldering applications. The Weller WR 2 soldering station is ESD protected and offers a temperature accuracy of ±9°C. There is a 3.5mm jack plug and socket on the back of the soldering unit for equipotential bonding. Equipotential bonding enables you to be ESD safe by joining metalwork that may be earthed, to avoid any potential malfunctions from ESD.
Soldering Iron
Part of this WR 2002 soldering set is the WP 80 soldering iron, this high performance and ergonomically designed iron is great for accurate soldering. Suited to solder medium-sized components with high energy demand. The WP 80 comes with Silver LineTechnology that aids fast heat up, up to 10 seconds. Easy to change out LT tips enable to quickly change out a tip if required for different tasks. A smaller barrel length compared to the WSP 80 allows you to hold it closer to the tip.
Desoldering Iron
The DSX 80 desoldering iron is a high-performing and ergonomic iron that is capable for the most desoldering applications. An integrated collector stores the extract solder and a Kapton ribbon allows you to safely change the tube. A small finger switch controls the vacuum pump for solder extraction. The DSX 80 takes approximately 80 seconds to heat up to the operating temperature, which can be as high as 450°C.
Soldering Iron Rest
The Weller WDH 10/30 soldering iron rest is an ideal place to keep the soldering, desoldering and hot air iron when not in use. Supplied with brass metal wool for dry tip cleaning, integrated into the stand.
