The Exsys PCIe I/O card provides two serial RS-232 , 422 and 485 high performance UART 16C550 outputs. Each port can be configured independently as RS-232, 422 or 485. It is designed to extend two additional serial combo ports for PC, small workstation or server over the PCIe bus. It supports the ATATM Auto RS-485 transmitter features.

5V or 12V on pin 9 of the serial RS232 connector
Support PCIe slot version 1.0 to 3.0
