RS PRO Serial Cable, DB9 Male to DB9 Female - 2m


This RS PRO serial cable assembly lets you connect two PCs via serial ports. You'll find it in business and home settings, including offices and studies. It's often used when older peripherals – such as printers or scanners – need to be connected to computers. The cable assembly also allows multiple data blocks to be transferred simultaneously from one device to another, which increases the overall transfer speed.

Connector A is a nine-way, D9 male, while Connector B is a nine-way, D9 female. The extension cable is housed in a robust PVC sheath to protect the internal wires from accidental damage and features aluminium-mylar shielding. The strands are 28 AWG (American wire gauge) in size and the cable is 2 metres long.
