RS PRO 5m D9 Way Male to D9 Way Female Straight Through Serial Cable


This straight through serial cable from RS PRO features a D9 Male connector at one end and a Female D9 connector on the other with gold flash contacts offering a high quality and reliable connection, ideal for use with connecting a computer to a DCE (Data Circuit-Terminating Equipment) device such as a modem. The female connector also features hex nuts to provide a secure connection. The cable features a PVC sheath offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability with strain relief on the end of the hood to support the cable and prevent it splitting. The cable also features aluminium-mylar foil shielding with drain wire, enhancing the quality and performance whilst preventing EMI interference. This durable serial cable is a perfect extension for applications requiring RS232 serial devices to be connected at a greater distance.
