Overview

The 4DproConnectivity Connection Device Modular, a part of the CDM420 sub product family, supports PROFIBUS DP, Ethernet, and Device Net fieldbus interfaces, and is compatible with products such as Lector62x, CLV61x - CLV65x, Mobile handheld scanners, RFH6xx, RFU62x, and RFU63x. It serves as a modular connection module designed for a single sensor, offering versatility and flexibility in connectivity options. The Connection Device Modular (CDM) presents a flexible, modular design, facilitating the swift connection of a SICK 1D/2D code reader or RFID interrogator to a SICK CAN scanner network, host computer, or PLC. With an IP 65 rating, the CDM ensures protection against environmental factors.

Its design includes free plug-in slots for additional modules, enabling integration of power supply units, displays, or fieldbus gateways, depending on specific requirements. Additionally, the CMC600 Connection Module Cloning unit seamlessly stores all parameter values of the connected scanner. In the event of scanner replacement, these values are automatically transferred to the new device, ensuring continuity and efficiency in operation.
