Overview

The 4DproConnectivity Connection Device Basic, part of the CDB620 sub product family, is designed to support various products including CLV61x - CLV65x, Lector62x, RFH6xx, and RFU62x. It serves as a compact module for connecting one sensor, equipped with 2 cable glands and 2 M12 connector/sockets for CAN communication. Additionally, it acts as a base for CMC600 integration. The Connection Device Basic offers a versatile array of options for swiftly connecting a single 4Dpro sensor, whether through the SICK CAN sensor network, host PCs, or PLCs, adhering strictly to industrial standards. Both the sensor and the connection module fulfil IP 65 enclosure rating requirements, ensuring protection against dust and water spray.

Moreover, the CDB is compatible with the CMC600 parameter cloning module, facilitating seamless parameter storage. When installed in the provided slot, the CDB stores all parameters of the connected 4Dpro sensor. Consequently, during sensor replacement, all application-specific parameters are effortlessly transferred to the new 4Dpro sensor of the same type, streamlining the process and ensuring continuity of functionality.
