This cable assembly from Phoenix Contact is used to effectively link sensors and their control units for optimal signal transmission. It features a female M8 socket on one end and a male M8 plug on the other end of a 5m cable for simple connections between compatible devices. This component's contacts are made of copper and tin for optimal conductivity. The nickel and silver plating protects the contacts against corrosion for more reliable performance.

The polyurethane (PUR) sheath material protects the cable's inner wiring against impact as well as oils and other substances. This makes it suitable for use in harsh industrial environments. For greater safety, it's also halogen-free, so it won't emit any toxic fumes in the event of a fire.
