As a YY cable, both its outer sheath and insulation are made of durable PVC (polyvinyl chloride), which is resistant to abrasion and impact. This material can also withstand chemicals and oils, so it's suitable for use in harsh environments. For electrical safety, the cable includes an integrated earth wire that provides a channel for fault current to flow to the ground. This effectively prevents electric shock so you can rest assured you're in safe hands.
