If you need a switch that's able to withstand daily use in public settings, choose this one from RS PRO. It has a body made of stainless steel and an IK02 impact resistance rating, so it's tough and able to withstand damage from vandalism. You can also safely use it indoors or outdoors in wet or dusty environments thanks to its IP67 rating.
This part requires little maintenance and is built to last as it has a mechanical lifespan of 50,000 cycles without load. To simplify operation, the switch face has a handy direction arrow so you can always be sure it's in the right position.
A panel sealing O-ring and nut are included with this switch, so it comes ready to install. This type of rotary switch is often used on vending, dispensing and self-service machines in public areas such as train stations and hospitals.
