This Schmersal interlock switch contributes significantly to workplace safety by preventing the use of machinery in unsafe situations. It can be fitted to movable, sliding or hinged machine guarding units as well as retrofitted to existing equipment. The switch features a robust thermoplastic housing, which has high resistance to impact and corrosion. Its silver contacts have excellent electrical conductivity for reliable and efficient operation. Screw terminals allow conductors to be firmly wired to the switch, and these connections stand up well to vibration and shock.
