The IDEM MLZ Rear Release Button is an accessory designed to be mounted in a way that allows access to the release button from inside the active guard area. When the release button is pressed and held, it activates the release of the lock mechanism, opening the lock monitoring contacts. This action enables the guard to be pushed open for easy access. The MLZ rear escape button for use with IDEM’s MLZ-series. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel, this rear escape button is robust and suitable for high impact scenarios.
