If you need to handle axial loads in one direction and simultaneous radial loads, go for this spherical roller thrust bearing from SKF. It has a specially designed raceway and asymmetrical rollers at an angle to the axis, with a flange to guide the rollers. This transmits the radial load toward the axis, allowing the unit to cope with loads from both directions at once. As this unit has separable, interchangeable parts, so you can mount and dismount the housing washer separately from the shaft washer and roller and cage assembly. This makes maintenance and inspection routines quicker and easier.
