How to change the nose pieces
In order to change the nose pieces, simply place the supplied spanner on the nose and turn anti-clockwise to loosen it. Once loosened the nose can be removed via hand by continuing to turn it anti-clockwise. Once removed simply select the required nose piece and place it in the rivet tool, turning it clockwise with the spanner until tight.
How to use a hand riveter
Before a rivet can be installed, the materials must be firmly clamped together and drilled using the correct size drill bit. Once this is achieved, simply place the mandrel of the rivet through the hole and place the nose piece of the rivet gun on the mandrel and squeeze the handles. By doing so, the head of the mandrel is pushed into the rivet causing the end of the rivet to expand. Further pressure on the handles will allow the mandrel to break off, producing a secure and permanent fixture.
