These sensors resist impact, abrasion and corrosion, to keep things moving where ordinary sensors grind to a halt. The 871TM series features full mechanical seals at all barrel openings and full epoxy encapsulation for optimal performance in the toughest environments. This inductive proximity sensor from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range detects the presence of a ferrous metal object without making physical contact with it.
