Allen Bradley 871C series miniature inductive proximity sensors are self-contained, solid-state devices designed to sense the presence of ferrous and non-ferrous metal objects without touching them. These small-barrel sensors are designed for space-critical applications where standard-size sensors simply will not fit. IO-Link enabled sensors offer advanced features and diagnostics including Automatic Device Configuration, multiple profiles, trending, descriptive tags, and device-specific parameters

Use this proximity sensor from Rockwell Automation's Allen Bradley range to detect ferrous and non-ferrous metals reliably. With a small 3mm barrel and a 1mm sensing distance, you can use it in tight spaces where a regular sensor wouldn't fit. The component benefits from false pulse, short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, to prevent electrical surges and other common issues that could damage it. This model features an IO-Link communication protocol that connects to the Connected Enterprise through a master tool (817-1598) for faster installation and setup.
