The Safedge can be cut into a number of lengths to guard different points. Closing Caps, Cable Connectors and Terminators (resistors) can be used to seal the Safedge system.

No, the resistor doesn't provide ingress protection by itself. If you need to secure your devices against contamination, you should use extra adhesive around the edges of your sensors when installing the resistor to ensure a strong seal.
