The RS PRO general-purpose momentary metal foot switch lets you change contacts in an electrical circuit. You'll often find it in settings where operating a hand switch is a safety concern, such as hospital beds, dentist chairs and certain lamps.

There's an IP40 rated switch that protects against tools and small wires less than 1 mm. It comes with two metres of cable, so you can easily position your equipment. This component has dimensions of (H) 24 mm x (L) 90 mm x (W) 66 mm. It has a contact voltage rating of AC 250 V and DC 24 V, with a contact current rating of 3 A.

As an RS PRO product, it's been stringently tested for durability and reliability. The switch is contained within a hardwearing steel housing. It has a low profile that helps eliminate operator fatigue, requiring only a small amount of pressure to operate.
