This panel-mounted pushbutton switch from CEAG Crouse-Hinds makes a convenient choice as an emergency stop for operations in hazardous zones. It features a red mushroom-style button that's easy to see and press when you need to quickly halt a system. The strong polyamide construction ensures long-lasting performance. The unit is suitable for use where flammable gas, vapours or mist may be present and even in potentially explosive conditions.

• IP66 (ingress protection) rating means it's dust-tight and protected against jets of water

• Maximum AC (alternating current) voltage of 500V and maximum DC (direct current) voltage of 220V accommodates a range of applications

• Wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +40°C for use in either freezing or high-heat environments

Panel mounting for use in Zone 1 hazardous areas. Maximum panel thickness is 5mm and the mounting hole required is 30.5mm diameter.,Front element is fixed to panel using the clamp nut. Body/contact block components fitted from rear utilising the built in quick action bayonet feature. The switches are rated at 500V/16A and the signal lamps have a rated voltage of 24Vdc.Housings are made from EN polyamide and glass reinforced polyester. Operating temperature: -55 to +50°C.
