IDC Bench Press & Tooling
From 3M, this bench assembly press and associated range of different platen and locator plates, are designed specifically for the 3M range of IDC connectors. The bench press tool is manually operated and portable, and can be fastened to a work station if necessary. Various platen and locator plates can be interchanged to assist in the construction of a range of connector assemblies.
The Bench Press is supplied with the 3M Platen No. 3442-9, which is suitable for the following connectors:
• 10 to 60-Way Class II Sockets
• 10 to 50-Way Class III Sockets
• 10 to 60-Way Class II Cable Plugs
• 10 to 60-Way 2-Row Transition Connectors
• 9 to 37-Way D Connectors, 3M 83XX range
• 10, 16, 26, 34 and 50-Way 4-Row Transition Connectors
• Delta Ribbon Connectors
• 10 to 50-Way Class III Sockets
• 10 to 60-Way Class II Cable Plugs
