This development kit provides engineers/ product developers with everything needed to test the ebm-papst ECI6340BK4.P63.2.30 brushless geared drive motor and Drive Studio programming GUI.

The ECI series of electronically commutated internal rotor motors from ebm-papst boasts a high power density and dynamic characteristics. This kit provides an efficient, compact quiet and fully customisable drive solution for automated product development.

There are 6 alternative kits available and an

additional 9 "bolt on" drive motor/gearboxes each offering a different drive solution. The range covers a nominal power output from 100 – 356 Watts and torque from 24Ncm – 85Ncm with a variety planetary and 90 Degree crown gearboxes.

Safety


The K4 motor controller is designed to meet the requirements of ES1 (SELV) according to EN62368-1:2014. It is for use only as part of the development kit and not suitable to be incorporated into finished product. Only ebm-papst K4 development motors should be used with this controller.

Power Supply


A suitable isolated power supply (24v and/or 48v) with minimum 10A rated should be used.

DC Brushless Motors
