The STEVAL-ESC001V1 is an electronic speed controller (ESC) board for a three-phase Brushless motor (BLDC/PMSM). It demonstrates a sensorless FOC algorithm with speed regulation and active braking. The board is designed to provide fast and efficient propulsion for remote control applications like electric cars, boats and UAV drones.

• 72MHz STM32F303CBT7 Cortex-M4F MCU with 128KB Flash memory, 32KB RAM

• 3 x L6398D High Side/Low Side MOSFET gate drivers

• 6 x STL160NS3LLH7 power MOSFETs configured as 3 x Half-Bridges

• Maximum RMS output current: 20A

• Current-sensing circuits

• Phase-sensing circuit

• Host communication: serial UART, I²C, CAN

• On-board SN65HVD230 CAN bus transceiver

• 2 x User LEDs

• Battery Eliminator Circuit (BEC) provides +5V power to R/C receiver and servomotors

• Test points for DAC, GPIOs, PWM signals, motor current feedback and CAN

• Connector for ST-LINK/V2 Program/Debug tool
