The STMicroelectronics Evaluation Board provides an easy way to integrate the VNQ9050LAJ into existing systems, offering a reliable platform for automotive applications. It supports extreme low voltage operation for deep cold cranking conditions, fully compliant with LV124 (revision 2013). The VNQ9050LAJ is a quad channel smart high side driver with current sense analogue feedback, designed for efficiency and safety. Key features include very low standby current, compatibility with 3 V and 5 V CMOS outputs, and Advanced diagnostic functions. The device offers multiplexed analogue feedback with a high precision proportional current mirror, overload and short to ground indication with power limitation, thermal shutdown protection, off state open load detection (with external pull up), output short to VCC detection, and sense enable/disable capability.
