The STMicroelectronics Evaluation Board implements a 15 V / 50 W SSR isolated fly back converter, developed for general purpose applications and designed to operate across a wide input range from 90 to 265 VAC. The reference design is built around a new Advanced offline high voltage converter from STMicroelectronics, featuring a 700 V PowerGaN device with embedded senseFET (Si) and HV startup. It supports quasi resonant (QR) operation with dynamic blanking time and adjustable valley synchronization delay functions, ensuring maximized efficiency under varying input line and load conditions. This makes the board a versatile and efficient solution for modern power conversion needs.
