These cables are often found in pendant lighting drops as well as supply leads in busy public places. As a low-smoke and zero-halogen option, the cable minimises dangerous emissions if there's a fire.
It operates at a range of temperatures from -5°C all the way up to +70°C. This flame-retardant cable has a cross-sectional area of 0.75 mm² and an outer diameter of 5.7 to 7.2 mm.
The cable is classed as a flexible Class 5 stranded-copper conducting cable (IEC 60228). You'll find it meets requirements for fire safety (IEC 60332-1) and contains minimal hazardous substances (RoHS). It's also safely sheathed in a thermoplastic compound (EN 50363-8, EN 50363-7).
