This RS PRO screened industrial cable is a steel-wired, armoured cable that's predominantly used for industrial wiring and mains distribution. It's often used for underground and outdoor cabling, thanks to its numerous protective attributes.

To keep it secure, the cable is screened or shielded with steel wire. This helps reduce the chances of electromagnetic interference interrupting the electric current and allows your cabling to work to the maximum possible efficiency.

The steel wire of the screen has been galvanised with layers of zinc coating. This prevents rust and corrosion damage to the internal wire in case any moisture penetrates the polyvinyl choride (PVC) sheath, making this a durable product.
