The OPTIBELT RB series ribbed belt combines the high flexibility of the flat belt with the high performance of the V-belt. The V-shaped parallel ribs are made from a wear-resistant rubber compound. The high strength tension cord is designed for the many applications of the ribbed belt. It is mainly used in fans, air conditioning, concrete saws, wood saws, industrial washing machines and etc.
Low vibration and noise
Can be used with back bend idlers, e.g. in serpentine drives
High belt speeds are possible
Very good dynamic power transmission capability
