This versatile, general-purpose blanking plug from Festo can be used to close a threaded port connection in a variety of pneumatic applications. It has a threaded connection size of 1/4 inch and is easy to attach and remove. The powerful plug performs well in pressurised applications and can withstand forces of up to 20 bar. This quality, combined with a maximum operating temperature of +150°C, makes it particularly useful in food packing and processing applications where equipment is frequently subjected to hot, high-pressure washdowns.
