RS PRO Drain Rod Set


If you need to push out, extract or wash away debris from blocked drains, use this drain rod set from RS PRO. The rods are made from durable, moisture-resistant polypropylene (PP) that won't get stuck when pushed down the drain. The material's crystalline composition gives it high flexural strength, meaning it can curve along with the bend in pipes without breaking.

This set includes four detachable rod ends for use with different types of blockages. The clearing wheel rotates along the drain surface to encourage movement in the pipe and compress water-logged debris. For more tenacious dirt and grime, the drop scraper grinds against the pipe surface to clear away obstructions. The plunger uses suction to pull debris out and the double worm screw is designed to twist over an object and catch it in its spiral prongs to pull it out.

The set contains 10 rods of three ft in length that can link together for a maximum reach of 30 feet, so you can tackle blockages in large, industrial drains or far down your plumbing pipework. The brass Lockfast joints provide a secure connection, so the rods and ends won't come apart during use.
