The Mitsubishi FX series 3rd generation basic, compact and compatible programmable logic controller (PLC) has 16 digital input (type 24Vdc sink/source) and 14 relay outputs. It has RS-232C/RS-422/USB programming communication and also Ethernet and Modbus networking. It provides a fit and forgets PLC solution for space and cost-conscious applications requiring up to 30 I/O. This minimum expandability and the batteryless maintenance-free controller is perfect for handling straightforward processes and it can be hidden in locations without regular maintenance activities.
